New Site Design
We’ve just launched our latest site design. Inspired muchly by a coffee and here we try to deliver “express design service” message beneath of it — just like a macchiato grande machine. How do you think?

Echofon & Google Chrome Brurry Icons
It’s been a long time since we haven’t release Brurry icons —a rounded square icon for Mac that resembles iPhone’s icon. Okay enough the yada-yada. Today we create Echofon (Twitter for Mac) and Google Chrome icons that you can download for free.

No Another Flurry
I recently got clarified through MacThemes forum that using Flurry name on any related icon releases is not allowed for copyright reasons.
Flurry is a copyright of IconFactory and any self-created Extra icons should be renamed to another name.
We will rename all of our recently released rounded-square icons to Brurry, same as our template. The rename process may lead you to a 404 Error page...

Yahoo! Messenger Brurry Icon
As my previous posts, I’m still loving famous rounded-square icon style. Therefore, revamping all of my app icons to match the iPhone-alike icon is a must for myself.
Go download it then. It just a crop-and-paste job from the original icon into the Brurry template that I already made. So the credit goes to its original author.

Canon EF 70-200 F2.8L IS Icon
This is my awesome, bulky, and most rarely used lens. Walking anywhere with this lens is really uncool. It grabs too much attentions, especially when visited a small village. They thought I was bringing a weapon of mass destructions to kidnap their children and exploit the young girls photos to Peter North and lolita touting sites. Huh…
So, why don’t try to make it small?

Feed Bulb PSD
Actually this is the design I created for 99designs contest days ago. I decided to release the PSD file because it is no longer used for the contest.
The PSD is 600 x 600 pixels in 300dpi. You are absolutely FREE to use the bulb icon for your personal or commercial works. A credit for me is a nice idea, but it is not necessary.

Transmission for Brurry
Here we go.. square-rounded a.k.a iPhone-alike version for the most popular and free torrent client for Mac, Transmission.
Info:
You need to replace original Transmission.icns which located at Contents > Resources folder inside the app (right click, choose Show Package Contents).
Otherwise, it will show the original icon at pause and quit state.

Basecamp Alternative
For those who can’t afford Basecamp monthly pricing, you can use and install the older version of activeCollab at your own server for free.
While the latest activeCollab has plenty improvements and major features, it force you to pay subscription fee similar to Basecamp. I have no idea why the activeCollab team hide the download page below from public.

Yay! my initial design for iPhone App Creator site redesign contest on 99designs was eliminated.
The contest holder suggest me to remove some unnecessary columns. He really wants to feature his AirFare Pro app without making another apps less visible.

Installing 64-bit MySQL on Snow Leopard
As usual, upgrading an OS require you to reconfigure the previous installed services such as MySQL, PHP, and Apache.
There is a 64-bit version of MySQL 5.1 that you can use on Snow Leopard. Although it was designed for Leopard, you can deploy it without any hassles.

Changing Snow Leopard Default App Icon
I recently discovered that some important app’s icon in Snow Leopard such as Safari, QuickTime X, System Preferences, Time Machine, TextEdit, Stickies, etc. are cannot replaced using CandyBar or ‘Get Info + Paste’ method.
Mine is Mac OS X 10.6.1 with latest CandyBar 3.2.1 installed.
